Welcome to My Fight Against SIDS
The Fight of two Mothers Striving to Raise Awareness of SIDS & SUDI
4th Annual SIDS in MD Walk/Run
is
Saturday, APRIL 21, 2012,
benefiting the Center for Infant and Child Loss, in recognition of National SIDS Awareness Day
Each year, thousands of families are affected by the sudden loss of an infant and/or child. My Fight Against SIDS (MFAS) supports these families as they grieve and heal. In addition, MFAS conducts community awareness events to expand the knowledge of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and Sudden Unexplained Death of Infancy (SUDI) to all families within Maryland, Washington, DC, and Virginia.
It is the goal of MFAS to educate as many families, as possible, of the risk factors and steps to reduce SIDS and SUDI, so that one day, one less family will experience the loss of a child.
If you have experienced the lost of a child to SIDS/SUDI, please participate in a SIDS/SUDI Survey that will be shared with researchers willing to do something about SIDS.
